Koeman gave a press conference ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League group-stage away to Benfica, when a reporter asked the Dutch coach for his opinion on the news that Luis Enrique would be recalled to Fati. With Spain’s squad scheduled for Thursday, Koeman has clearly shown frustration and he hopes that won’t happen.
‘I don’t know about this problem because I’m not a national team coach. As I said the other day, he still has a long way to go. But for me it was a good day. When he returned, he played 15 minutes and scored the third goal. it’s perfect I can only say he’s been away from the ring for 10 months, he’s been back in training for two weeks and played 15 minutes,’ Koeman answered sharply.
